11.3 Vacation Allowance Reqular Part-time Employees <br /> <br />Regular part-time employees including job share employees provided <br />they average between twenty (20) and twenty-nine (29) hours per <br />week, shall accrue vacation with pay as follows: <br /> <br />Years of Continuous Service <br /> <br />First through fourth <br /> <br />Fifth through Tenth <br /> <br />Eleventh through eighteenth <br /> <br />Nineteenth and above <br /> <br />Monthly Accrual Rate <br /> <br /> 3.334 <br /> <br /> 5.000 <br /> <br /> 6.667 <br /> <br /> 8.334 <br /> <br />Regular part-time employees including job share employees provided <br />they average between thirty (30) through thirty-nine (39) hours per <br />week, shall accrue vacation with pay as follows: <br /> <br />Years of Continuous Service <br /> <br />First through fourth <br /> <br />Fifth through tenth <br /> <br />Eleventh through eighteenth <br /> <br />Nineteenth and above <br /> <br />Monthly Accrual Rate <br /> <br /> 5.000 <br /> <br /> 7.500 <br /> <br /> 10.000 <br /> <br /> 12.500 <br /> <br />11.4 <br /> <br />Vacation Accumulation <br /> <br />Any eligible employee may be allowed to have an accumulation of no <br />more than two years vacation accrual on his/her anniversary date. <br />If the maximum vacation accrual is reached, the employee shall <br />temporarily cease the further accrual of vacation until his/her <br />vacation balance is reduced below the maximum accumulation. An <br />employee reaching his/her maximum accrual shall be notified in <br />writing by the personnel department ninety (90) days in advance. <br /> <br />If the requirements of the service are such that an employee cannot <br />take his/her vacation for purposes of complying with the above, the <br />employee's department head may make special arrangements including <br />the continuation of vacation accrual to accommodate the employee if <br />necessary. <br /> <br />Employees who on May 1, 1992 have accrued vacation in excess of <br />twice their annual vacation accrual rate shall reduce their <br />vacation accrual balance to the maximum specified in the paragraph <br />above by their 1993 anniversary date. Scheduling of said vacation <br />shall be in accordance with the provisions of Section 11.5. <br /> <br />- 13 - <br /> <br /> <br />
