<br />Resolution No. <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Therefore, the granting of the variance would not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety, or general welfare or materially injurious to <br />properties in the area, and this third finding can be made for the variance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies Case PAP-99, thereby approving Case PV-153/PADR-1526, the <br />variance and administrative design review applications of Peter <br />ShuttslFinlay Boag to construct additions to the existing dwelling at 4558 <br />Second Street consisting of: 1) one-story additions totaling approximately <br />291 sq. ft. on the front, north side, and rear of the house; 2) two-story <br />additions totaling approximately 294 sq. ft. on the southern side and rear <br />ofthe house; 3) a porte-cochere and second-floor balcony on the southern <br />side of the house; and 4) a covered front porch, subject to the conditions <br />shown on "Exhibit B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2006, BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
