s- "LEED'+~M Coninzcrcial Green Building Rating System" means the most recent vcrsic~n of the Lcadcirship in Energy and Environ nicntal Design (LEED~'~M) Cc>rratnerei al Careen Building Rating SystemTM, or other related LEEDTM Rating System, approved by the U. S. Green Building Council. As new rating systems are developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, the Green Building Compliance= Official shall have the authority to specify the applicable LEEDTM Commercial Green Building Rating System for a Covered Project. For the first six months aRer the release of any new version of the LEr.DTM Commercial Cirecn Building Rating System when the Covered Project is Formally sub+r+i tted to the Planning Dcpart+r+ent for approval with the pay+r+ent of appropriate fe=es, the Applicant shall be given the choice of using the most current version or the version to be su perscded.
