<br />night Catwalk, Halloween employees costume contest, an Easter Bunny <br />walkabout in April, the fourth annual Spring Flower Faire in May, <br />the third annual new (or 20th old) Heritage Days in June, and <br />another (the 9th annual) swnner series of Friday night concerts <br />in Wayside Park. As (in the natural course of events) needs arise, <br />other activities will be added to the promotion schedule. <br />Downtown sponsored improvements for 1991-92 will be under <br />the direction of the Board of Directors and a Beautification <br />Committee. Economic development within the central business <br />district will be a focus in the coming fiscal year. Studies are <br />also underway for establismment of a Downtown Farmers' Market <br />in 1992. <br />BUDGET: <br /> <br />Attached is a copy of the proposed assessment fee <br />1991-92 budget. Besides revenues from assessments, the 1991-92 <br />budget assumes a beginning fund balance of about $10,000, voluntary <br />contributions of $1,000, City of Pleasanton contribution of <br />$6,000 for Downtown Christmas lights, $12,000 from Universal Custom <br />Promotions, Inc., for advertising the International Fall Festival <br />and Heritage Days, and approximately $900 interest income. <br />MEMBERSHI PS : <br />The Pleasanton Downtown Association holds active member- <br />ship in the California Downtown Association and the Pleasanton <br />Chmnber of Commerce.
