Staff is seeking direction from the <br />City Council on this issue. <br /> <br />NEXT STEPS <br /> <br />Staff will revise portions of the circulation network model pertaining to street extensions and <br />widenings in accordance with the City Council's direction. When the analysis is completed <br />(anticipated in Fall 2006) staff will review the results with the Planning Commission and City <br />Council and seek direction regarding further adjustments to the circulation network and/or future <br />land use. In the meantime, staff will be updating and making recommendations for amendments <br />to the Circulation Element background information and policies for Planning Commission and <br />City Council consideration. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />1. Consider refinements to the "working draft" circulation (roadway) <br />network <br />2.
