<br />Invitation to Bid on "As Needed Services" <br /> <br />The following outline provides a scope of work for the City's expectations regarding "as <br />needed" Water pump repair work for utilities: <br /> <br />. Provide routine pump service at all utilities' pump stations. <br />. Provide emergency service on a call out basis for these same locations. <br />. Provide troubleshooting and repairs to Pumps and motors of varying voltage and <br />phase. <br />. Perform work on water and sewer pumps varying in size from 2 H.P. to 450 H.P. <br />. Troubleshoot and repair any controllers and accessories associated with water, <br />sewer, and storm pumping systems. <br />. Provide removal and installation of pumps and electric motors at locations. <br /> <br />Utilities - Sewer and Storm Pump Repairs <br /> <br />The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine and <br />emergency Sewer and storm pump repair work for the Utilities Division. This work <br />would be performed at any of the City's sewer and storm facilities located throughout the <br />City. <br /> <br />All Contractors' employees shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and <br />regulations governing the installation and testing of electrical pumping equipment and <br />components. All Contractors' employees shall comply will all OSHA and City policies <br />regarding the proper use of LockoutlTagout procedures. Also contractor will pay <br />particular attention to confined space procedures when working on sewer and storm drain <br />pumps. <br /> <br />The scope of work for "as needed" Sewer and Storm pump repair work for utilities is the <br />same as above for water pumps. <br /> <br />Utilities - Fence Installation and Repairs <br /> <br />The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine fence <br />installations and repairs. This work could be required on any City owned or operated <br />property, including remote areas such as creeks or canals. All types of fencing could be <br />required from chain link to wood, T post, etc. <br /> <br />Parks - Concrete (Sidewalks and Brick Pavinl! Stones) <br /> <br />The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform sidewalk repairs on <br />an as-needed basis. Removal and replacement work is to be preformed to current City <br />Standards and Specifications Dated June 2002. Replacement concrete is to be 6-sack <br />mix, with a maximum slump of three inches, and I lb oflampblack per cubic yard. Work <br />is to include any root pruning if needed, and the proper removal and disposal of all <br />materials and debris. <br /> <br />5 <br />
