Service Coordination <br /> <br />As the primary Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provider for the Tri- <br />Valley, the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LA VTA) completes all <br />coordination of rides into other parts of the Bay Area. LA VT A staff completes <br />the certification of all the area's ADA riders, and coordinates this information <br />with the Pleasanton Paratransit Office. LA VT A assures that this coordination is <br />consistent with the local and regional requirements. Pleasanton Paratransit <br />Service and the LA VT A Wheels Dial-A-Ride Program work together to <br />coordinate rides for clients in the Tri- Valley. Through this partnership, a more <br />responsive transportation service exists for residents. <br /> <br />3. Efficiencv and Effectiveness <br /> <br />The Pleasanton Paratransit Service Year End Report summarizes <br />accomplishments for the year. Some of the highlights for FY 2004-05 include: <br /> <br />. 22,989 vehicle trips completed <br />. 97,233 revenue vehicle miles traveled <br />. 8,639 revenue vehicle hours accomplished <br />. IS ,699 shared passenger rides coordinated <br />. 6,842 lift-assisted trips completed <br />. 93% rating for on-time service <br /> <br />The City of Pleasant on hired Caporricci & Larson to complete an audit of the <br />Pleasanton Paratransit Service for FY 2004-05, This audit found no problems <br />with the financial management of the service, <br />
