<br />Commissioner Testa's recommendation was considered and discussed by members of the Commission <br />and staff. Commissioner Ponton suggested that the Commission first review and make a recommendation <br />regarding the public services funding requests. A second recommendation could then be made for the <br />capital funding requests, including a discussion of the 20% administrative amount. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commission Ponton, seconded by Commissioner Lewis, recommending that the <br />City Council consider the following allocations for public services funding: <br /> <br />Al!:encv <br />Axis Community Health <br />Bay Area Community Services <br />CAPE, Inc. <br />Easter Seals Bay Area <br />God's Love Outreach Ministries <br />Senior Support Program <br />Spectrum Community Services <br />ECHO Housing <br /> <br />Requested Amount <br />$20,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$6,800 <br />$5,000 <br />$42,000 <br />$23,646 <br />$23,011 <br /> <br />Recommended Amount <br />$0 <br />$5,000 <br />$5,000 <br />$5,000 <br />$0 <br />$10,000 <br />$13,134 <br />$5,000 <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />A YES: Commissioners Cousins, Detweiler, Lewis, Ponton, Testa, and Chairperson Tenbrink <br />NOES: Commissioner Lambert <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Olson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Mr. Erickson noted that the actual amount of funds that could be added to the capital project allocations, if <br />the Council approved the inclusion of the 20% administrative allowance, would be $57,513.
