SECTION I (Continued) <br /> <br /> d) Receiving or accepting money or other personal consideration from <br /> anyone other than the City of Pleasanton for the performance of <br /> work done or actions taken in the regular course of employment <br /> or duties for the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> e) Receiving or accepting, directly or indirectly, any gift or favor <br /> from anyone doing business with the City of Pleasanton under <br /> circumstances from which it could reasonably be inferred that such <br /> was intended to influence him/her in his/her official employment <br /> or duties, or as a reward for official action. <br /> <br /> f) Engaging in or accepting private employment or rendering services <br /> for private interests that may inhibit the proper discharge of his/her <br /> official employment or duties. <br /> <br /> Elected and appointed officials shall comply with the Ralph M. Brown Act <br /> ~iii~iii~:... ~ and all applicable open meeting laws. <br /> <br /> Every elected official, officer, appointee, consultant, or contract personnel <br /> of the City of Pleasanton shall disclose completely the nature and extent <br /> of any. interest, direct or indirect, which conflicts with his/her <br /> responsibility or duty. <br /> <br /> The City Council and the City Attorney shall administer this Code of <br /> Ethics for all elected and appointed officials. <br /> <br />II. MEETINGS AND FROCEDURAL POLICIES <br /> <br /> A. Authority <br /> <br /> As provided by Government Code Section 36813, the City Council of Pleasanton <br /> establishes these Policies of Procedure for the conduct of meetings. The <br /> following policies shall be in effect upon their adoption by the City Council and <br /> until such time as they are mended or new policies adopted in the manner <br /> provided by these policies. <br /> <br /> B. T_vpes of MeetinS <br /> <br /> City Council meetings shall be confined to the following categories: <br /> <br /> 1. Regular Meetings <br /> <br /> The Council shall meet in the City Council Chambers for all regular <br /> meetings.
