SECTION I (Continued) d) Receiving or accepting money or other personal consideration from anyone other than the City of Pleasanton for the performance of work done or actions taken in the regular course of employment or duties for the City of Pleasanton. e) Receiving or accepting, directly or indirectly, any gift or favor from anyone doing business with the City of Pleasanton under circumstances from which it could reasonably be inferred that such was intended to influence him/her in his/her official employment or duties, or as a reward for official action. f) Engaging in or accepting private employment or rendering services for private interests that may inhibit the proper discharge of his/her official employment or duties. Elected and appointed officials shall comply with the Ralph M. Brown Act ~iii~iii~:... ~ and all applicable open meeting laws. Every elected official, officer, appointee, consultant, or contract personnel of the City of Pleasanton shall disclose completely the nature and extent of any. interest, direct or indirect, which conflicts with his/her responsibility or duty. The City Council and the City Attorney shall administer this Code of Ethics for all elected and appointed officials. II. MEETINGS AND FROCEDURAL POLICIES A. Authority As provided by Government Code Section 36813, the City Council of Pleasanton establishes these Policies of Procedure for the conduct of meetings. The following policies shall be in effect upon their adoption by the City Council and until such time as they are mended or new policies adopted in the manner provided by these policies. B. T_vpes of MeetinS City Council meetings shall be confined to the following categories: 1. Regular Meetings The Council shall meet in the City Council Chambers for all regular meetings.
