Salaries <br /> <br /> Msnaaement/Confidentialz Effective September 1, 1993 the <br /> salary grades, grade assignments, and control points for <br /> management and confidential classifications shall be as set <br /> forth on Appendix A and Appendix C. On the first pay day in <br /> September 1994, each management and confidential employee <br /> having been so employed for a six month period shall be <br /> eligible for a one time payment generally equal to two (2) <br /> percent of the employee's annual salary. The specific payment <br /> received shall however, be based upon the particular <br /> employee's performance as determined by the City Manager. <br /> Effective September 1, 1995 a merit increase pool equal to two <br /> (2) percent of total management and confidential compensation <br /> shall be established from which the City Manager may grant <br /> salaz7 increases to individual management and confidential <br /> employees based upon individual performance. <br /> <br /> The administration of management and confidential salaries <br /> shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Management <br /> and Confidential Base Salary Plan attached as Appendix B. <br /> <br />3.2 Salary SettinQ Promotion <br /> <br /> When a management or confidential employee is promoted he/she <br /> shall be assigned a salary within their new classification <br /> salary grade that is at least five percent above the salary <br /> held in the former classification. <br /> <br />Section 4. Performance Bonus <br /> <br /> When in the opinion of the City Manager and, as appropriate, <br /> the department head, a manager's performance/accomplishments <br /> significantly exceeds expectations, the City Manager may <br /> authorize a performance bonus. All bonus' granted shall be in <br /> the form of a one time payment. The total of all bonus' <br /> granted shall not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($ 50,000). <br /> <br />Section 5. Special Compensation <br /> <br /> 5.1 Overtime - Confidential Employees. Confidential employees who <br /> are assigned by their supervisor to work after completion of <br /> their regular work day shall be entitled to overtime <br /> compensation for all hours so worked, provided, however, that <br /> the overtime rate shall be computed at one and one-half (1- <br /> <br /> - 4 - <br /> <br /> <br />
