transacting business with such City and County Employees <br /> Credit Union. <br /> <br />Section 11, De~er~ed Comuensation <br /> <br /> The city shall provide a voluntary deferred compensation <br /> plan. <br /> <br />Section 12. Tuition & Book Reimbursem6~e <br /> <br /> Upon approval of the city manager, management and <br /> confidential employees shall be reimbursed tuition <br /> expenses for job related courses successfully completed <br /> from accredited colleges or universities. The maximum <br /> amount of tuition reimbursement per year shall equal the <br /> total tuition levied by Hayward State University for the <br /> academic year beginning in the Fall of each year. <br /> <br /> Management and Confidential employees can be reimbursed <br /> for books required for college/university courses <br /> approved by the City Manager and successfully completed <br /> with a grade of "C" or better. Upon reimbursement, the <br /> books shall become the property ofthe City. The maximum <br /> reimbursement for books an employee may receive shall not <br /> exceed $300.00 per fiscal year. To be reimbursed, the <br /> employee must submit a receipt from the college or <br /> university for the book purchase and an official <br /> transcript of grades. <br /> <br />Section 13. Education IncentiVe Pay <br /> <br /> Regular confidential employees upon reaching the mid <br /> point of their salary grade shall be eligible for <br /> educational incentive pay for educational degrees from <br /> accredited colleges or universities. The degree must be <br /> beyond that required by the employee's classification. <br /> The amount of said pay shall be as followsz <br /> <br /> 2 1/2 ~ AA degree <br /> <br /> 5 ~ BB/BA degree <br /> <br />Section 14, Automobiles and Automobile Allowances <br /> <br />14.1 Automobiles <br /> <br /> The Chief of Police may be provided an automobile for his <br /> unrestricted use provided, however, that he licenses the <br /> <br /> - 14 - <br /> <br /> <br />
