Tuition & Book Reimbursem6~e <br /> <br /> Upon approval of the city manager, management and <br /> confidential employees shall be reimbursed tuition <br /> expenses for job related courses successfully completed <br /> from accredited colleges or universities. The maximum <br /> amount of tuition reimbursement per year shall equal the <br /> total tuition levied by Hayward State University for the <br /> academic year beginning in the Fall of each year. <br /> <br /> Management and Confidential employees can be reimbursed <br /> for books required for college/university courses <br /> approved by the City Manager and successfully completed <br /> with a grade of "C" or better. Upon reimbursement, the <br /> books shall become the property ofthe City. The maximum <br /> reimbursement for books an employee may receive shall not <br /> exceed $300.00 per fiscal year. To be reimbursed, the <br /> employee must submit a receipt from the college or <br /> university for the book purchase and an official <br /> transcript of grades. <br /> <br />Section 13. Education IncentiVe Pay <br /> <br /> Regular confidential employees upon reaching the mid <br /> point of their salary grade shall be eligible for <br /> educational incentive pay for educational degrees from <br /> accredited colleges or universities.
