He thanked <br />everyone for allowing him to participate in planning the park even though he is not a Pleasanton <br />resident. He said he would like to see in-line at the park but not at the expense of eliminating <br />other activities. <br /> <br />Jim Keeney, 3471 Windsor Court, stated his support for handball in the park. He feels it is not <br />only a good physical sport, but it also costs very litfie to participate. <br /> <br />Frank Callahun, 3026 Casa Dero Court, supported handball in the park. He feels the <br />tournaments which would be held would bring money to the community. <br /> <br />Jason Santos, 3430 Andrews Drive, No. 317, stated he plays handball three to four times a <br />week. He would like three-wall handball courts because it would make his four-wall game <br />better and also give him the chance to teach his friends to play. He stated it is a game which <br />does not cost anything to learn or play. <br /> <br />Bob Sanchez, 3017 Melbourne Court, spoke in favor of handball. He also asked that a task <br />force be formed for in-line skating. <br /> <br />Richard Christian, 7557 Oxbow Lane, Dublin, expressed support for handball and feels it can be <br />enjoyed by all ages. He offered to teach handball lessons at no charge at the park. <br /> <br />James Dominguez, 3233 Pueblo Way, feels handball has helped him in playing other sports. He <br />stated the courts would also benefit those playing racquetball, tennis, and volleyball. <br /> <br />Tom Sore, 3008 Highgate Road, Modesto, stated he is the president of the Northern California <br />Handball Association and a regional director for the United States Handball Association. He <br />explained the goals of the organization which is the promotion and development of handball and <br />stated when a program is available, they would be willing to provide equipment, instructors and <br />money. <br /> <br />Lawrence Aguiar, 3033 Collier Canyon Road, Livermore, stated court soccer, racquethall and <br />wallyball can be played on handball courts.
