Should the Commission wish to place in-line rinks in the park, an
additional $160,000 will be required for the project. If the
Commission wishes to add parking to address the anticipated
shortfall, the design will need to be revisited to determine
where additional parking could be added. That may represent an
additional cost.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Park and Recreation Commission approve
Concept C as the Amended Master Plan for Pleasanton Tennis and
Community Park, and direct staff to proceed with the project.

Should the Commission wish to approve Concept A or B, further
direction will be required regarding addressing the funding
shortfall, and if the Commission wishes to have the Master Plan
reviewed to identify the potential for increasing the available
on-site parking.

Respectfully submitted,

Dolores Bengtson
Director of Parks
and Community Services

Attachments: A.
