IN-LIME SKATING MEETING

March 30, 1995 staff held a meeting of in-line skaters, parents
and interested citizens. Articles were placed in the newspapers
to solicit interest and to announce the meeting, and all those
who artended the meeting of March 9, 1995 were invited to attend.

Twenty-five individuals attended the meeting. The meeting was
facilitated by Mike Fulford and Mark Spiller. Commissioners
Seebach and Dove were in attendance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Minimum and Maximum Program
and facility standards were identified. The attendance record,
agenda and meeting notes are attached.

Those attending the meeting were very interested in finding a
site for in-line hockey that would provide a safe and legal place
for youth and adults to play hockey. While the focus of the
input was primarily to provide a facility of youth, several
adults in attendance stated they would also like a place where
adults could play.

PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY PARK TASK FORCE MEETING

A meeting of the Task Force was held on April 3, 1995. Twenty
people attended the meeting; a roster is attached.

Staff reviewed the additional information provided from the in-
line skating meeting. Debbi Wood, a parent of an in-line skater
who attended the in-line skating meeting, artended to answer
questions regarding the meeting or the sport.

Those attending the Task Force meeting reviewed the parking needs
of the elements included in the Master Plan, removing the golf
amenities. The following parking needs were identified:

Handball 10 - 15
Tennis 82 (league play)
Volley ball 15 - 20
Play area 8 - 15
Basketball 16
Building 20
Staff 6

Total 165 (using average of ranges)

The minimum in-line skating facility identified by those
attending the in-line meeting was for two small rinks. It is
reasonable to expect two small in-line rinks to generate the need
for 45 parking spaces. This allows for four teams playing and
four teams overlap. The 45 figure does not consider spectators
other than a parent. Considering the total number of spaces
proposed for the park is 112 (42 existing, 70 in the proposed
project), and the 48 parking spaces available on the park side of
