Mr. McInnes noted that he would be happy to adjust the building height to conform to <br />City require rnents, and asked whether a 27'/z-foot, two-story building would be <br />acceptable. <br />Chairperson Maas noted that the height was not as much of aii issue for her as the siting <br />on the hilltop. She was opposed to the hilltop siting as it was designed. <br />Given the Vineyard Avenue Specific Ylan, the lot sizes on 40,000 square: feet, and the <br />dots on the plan, Commissioner Fox did not have an issue with an additional house on the <br />hill but had concerns about a house high on the ridgaliue_ She believed that a Specific <br />Place amendment would open a Pandora's box for other homes- She would like more <br />details regarding how the building height was calculated according to the Municipal <br />Code. <br />There was some discussion about whether a basic 3-D model would help the Planning <br />Commission visualize the proj act when it is brought back. <br />Ms_ Decker indicated that she had sue-i-icicnt direction from the Planning Commission and. <br />that statT would work with the applicant to t3nd -appropriate solutions for the structure and <br />the siting. <br />No action was taken. <br />7. MATT F_RS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBF RS <br />Commissioner Roberts rejoined the Commissioners at the dais. <br />Tully's -Yellow Caution Tane <br />C'ocnmissioner Fox asked whether the; City placed the yellow caution tape around Tully's <br />planters a. month ago. She suggested that a mere appropriate barrier be placed there. <br />Ms_ Dec]<er noted that the area was replanted and that the tape was placed there probably <br />to keep people out of the new plantings. <br />Site Visits/Snacial Meetin us <br />Commissioner Roberts indicated that she would like to initiate a discussion about special <br />meetings and noted that the General Plan n-ceetings were special nicetings_ <br />Ms. Nerland noted that any meeting that was not part of the regular schedule qualified as <br />a special meeting.
