--- the following amendments be made under c_ PAP-80, GreQO rv and Nancv Crofton_ <br />Appellants tPADR-1271_ Beniamin and Jovice Diaz): <br />Add the following sentence after the first sentence of the second paragraph on <br />page 20 as follows: <br />"Ms_ Mendez presented the staff report... to their two-story residence~ <br />She noted that the City 's Landscape Architect hud visited the site and <br />had indicated that the removal of the three trees would not require <br />mitigation under the G'ity 's Tree Preservation Ordinance. She stated <br />that the proposal met all the Code requirements...." <br />Revise the last sentence of the First ~continuing~ paragraph on page 2 7 as follows: <br />"He further requested that should the addition be approved,~a~a <br />the Crc~ftons be allowed to install u <br />seven-fi~ot tall fence for privacy-" <br />Ms_ Decker advised that the Diazes requested that the minutes be amended to reflect the <br />discussion at the dais aRer the motion had been made; however, staff determined that that <br />discussion is typically not included as part of the minutes, and that language was not <br />included_ <br />The minutes were approved as corrected- <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO <br />ADDRESS THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS <br />NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA_ <br />Kevin Close, 87 ] Sycamore, noted that the new golf course would open in November and <br />expressed concern that there was no bypass road planned. He hoped that the Commission <br />could make comments on that situation regarding the need for a bypass road. He hoped <br />that the police patrols in the golf course area would be increased to deal with the future <br />increase in traffic. He was very concerned about speeding on the narrow road. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Fox regarding the speed enforcement on <br />Alisal Street by Alameda County rather than Pleasanton police, Ms_ Decker replied that <br />staff would look into that issue and. report back to the Commission_ <br />4_ REV1SlONS AND OMISSIONS 'TO THE AGENDA <br />Ms_ Decker advised that Item 6.a._ PUD-38_ Lynn Jansen, would be continued to the <br />meeting of August 24, 2005, so the applicant may be in attendance. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES August 10, 2005 Page 3 of 19 <br />
