MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a_ Future Planning Calendar <br />Snotorno Ranch E1R Sconin~ Session <br />Chairperson Maas advised that on March 23, 2005, the Spotorno Ranch EIR Scoping <br />Session would be held in place of the regular Planning Commission meeting. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Fox whether the Scoping Session would be <br />televised, Ms_ Decker replied that it was not set up to be televised at this time. The <br />Commission members would be in attendance, but the Councilmembers will not_ <br />Second Regular Meeting for Anril 2005 <br />Ms_ Decker advised that a calendar was submitted to the Commission to schedule a <br />second meeting for April. The League of California Cities will hold its Planners Institute <br />on April 13-15, 2005, which conflicts with a regular meeting date- She noted that <br />Wednesday, April 6, 2005 had been considered, but the Chambers would not be <br />available- She noted that Thursday, April 7, 2005 may be considered because the <br />Chambers would be available. The Commissioners would be generally available on <br />April 7, 2005_ <br />Ms_ Decker confirmed that the meeting of April 1 3, 2005, would not be held- <br />Commissioner Blarilc suggested that staff advertise the meeting day change in a <br />conspicuous manner to encourage public participation. <br />Ms_ Decker noted that the unique scheduling issues had impacted the number of projects <br />backing up in the Planning Department and added that there may be some relatively <br />heavy agendas in the near future.
