Meeting Calendars Commissioner Blank thanked staff for the calendar provided to the Commission, and would like to see a calendar that listed all City meetings in one place. Ms. Decker noted that Commissioner Blank's suggestions regarding meeting calendars and website listings had been referred to the appropriate department; the Plai~iiing Department was not responsible for the City website. She would report back to the Commission when further information was available. Follow-un items from the February 9_ 2005_ Meetin Ms. Decker noted that the uplighting issue from the previous meeting may be a candidate for the creation of an ordinance. M.s. Decker advised that the Spotorno Ranch EIR Scoping Session was calendared for March 23, 2005_ Ms. Decker inquired whether Commissioner Blank and Fox were interested in attending the Planners Institute Conference. Commissioner Blank noted that he sent his statement of interest to the Planning Department; G'ommissioner Fox indicated that she probably could not attend_ Definition of Gross Aerea~e for Density Purooses Commissioner Arkin inquired whether there was any interest on the Commission to examine the calculation of gross acreage for the purposes of determining density in zoning. Mr. Pavan advised that the definition of gross acreage was spelled out in the Pleasanton General Plan, which included everything except for areas dedicated to flood control purposes. He expected that could be reviewed under the Land Use Element of the General Plan Update. Commissioner Arkin noted that he would like to request that the present form of the definition be changed. Ms. Nerland advised that the only action the Commission may take was to agendize the subject for a future meeting.
