Planning Commission- Prior to building penrxit issuance, the green building provisions <br />that are proposed to be included in the development shall be submitted to the Ylanning <br />Director R~r review and comment- City staff shall arrange a meeting with the project <br />developer to discuss the proposed measures and to detcrxrxine if other fcasibl e, maritally <br />agreeable green building measures can be incorporated into the project. <br />1 7. The building shall be designed and constructed to accon~niodate future roof-mounted <br />photovoltaic panels- Specifically, the roof shall be engineered to accommodate the <br />additional load of photovoltaic panels, electrical conduit(s~ shall be installed from the <br />roof/attic areas to the building's main electrical panel, and a space shall be provided for <br />the electrical inverter. <br />1 8. "17ze applicant shall submit a simple transportation systems management progracrx to <br />provide incentives for employees or agents to use public transit, carpool, bike, or walls to <br />work to reduce traf£ic_ Such a prograiri could include incentives such as: free or reduced <br />cost Wheals/BART passes, cash incentives program, installing a bicycle rack, etc_ Said <br />program shall be subject to the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to <br />occupancy- <br />19. The project developer shall effectively screen from view all ducts, rrceters, air <br />conditioning equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, <br />on the ground, or on the roof, with materials architecturally compatible with the building. <br />Screening details shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits, <br />the adequacy of which shall be determined by the Planning Director. All required <br />screening shall be provided prior to occup ancy_ <br />20. All mechanical equipment shall be constructed in such a manner that noise emanating <br />from it will not be perceptible beyond the property plane of the subject property in a <br />norxr~al environment for that zoning district. <br />21 . The applicant shall submit an exterior lighting plan for the site and building, including <br />photometrics, for the review and approval of the Plaxuxing Director and G'txieF Building <br />Official prior to issuance of building permits. The fighting plan shall cocriply with the <br />C'ity's Security Ordinance (Chapter 20.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code) and the <br />following requirements: <br />a. Lighting shall be directed -away from adjacent properties acid shall incorporate cut-off <br />shield type Fixtures to prevent glare onto adjacent properties or roadways. <br />h. The height of the light poles shall not exceed 1 O'/z feet. If additional lighting is <br />necessary to comply with the C:ity's Security Ordinance, then additional light poles <br />and/or fixtures shall be provided at the site_ <br />c_ Light levels at the easterly property line shall not exceed 0.2 foot candles. <br />
