6. The project developer shall consult with representatives of the San. Francisco Bay Area <br />Tran sit District ~BAR'1~~ in developing the design for a pedestrian crossing of Stoneridge <br />Mall Road between the mall property and the BART station property. Preliminarily, the <br />crossing will be located at street level, will include a sidewalk landing on the mall <br />property, and will be connected to the pedestrian sidewalk to be located along the east <br />side of the parking deck_ Traffic controls for the crossing, c_g., stop signs or signals, shall <br />he worked out to the satisfaction of the Planning Director and the City Engineer at the. <br />crossing's design stage_ The pedestrian crossing shall be installed to the satisfaction of <br />the City Engineer. The proj act developer shall use their bast efforts to install the <br />pedestrian crossing before the BART station becoxries operable. <br />7. All perpendicular surface and parking deck parking spaces shall be double striped, with <br />the stripes spaced ] 2-inches apart. "I'he 9-foot spacing for the perpendicular spaces shall <br />be measured to the centerline of the double striping. Wheel stops shall be provided <br />unless the spaces are ironted by concrete curbs, in which case sufficient areas shall be <br />provided beyond the cads of all parking spaces to accommodate the overhang of <br />autonzobiles_ "fhis detail shall he shown on the building permit plan set to the satisfaction <br />of the Planning Director before issuance of a building permit <br />K_ All roof mounted HVAC equipment for the buildings covered by this approval shall be <br />designed and installed so that the equipment does not project above a horizontal plane <br />established by the buildings' perimeter parapet walls or by equipment screens. The <br />Planning Director niay grant exceptions to this requirement if it can be demonstrated that <br />the equipment will not be visible from the Stoneridge Mall edge oi' Stoneridge Mall <br />Road. <br />9. The project developer shall work out the details of the Wheels' bus stop by the <br />Cheesecake Factory Restaurant with Wheels' representatives before issuance of a <br />building permit for the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant The bus stop's locati oxi and <br />design shall be shown on the building permit plan set for review and. approval by the <br />Planning Director before issuance of a building permit. <br />1 O_ All contractors involved in site improvements, building construction, and tenant <br />irrxprovement construction shall be limited to the following construction hours: <br />All site improvements and building shell construction activities shall be limited to <br />the hours of 7.00 a.ni. to 10=00 p_m., Monday through Saturday. Signs stating <br />construction hours shall be posted throughout the construction site, in <br />construction trailer(s), and on all floors of all buildings during the duration oL- <br />construction. "1'he Planning Director may allow earlier "start-times" for specific <br />building construction activities, e. g., concrete-fo undation/floor-pouring, if it can <br />he demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Planning Director that the construction <br />and construction traffic noise can be xziitigaicd. <br />2 <br />
