8. The street trees facing Wyoming Street and Utah Street shall be 24-inch box-sine species~ <br />"This change shall be shown on the building permit plan set to the satisfaction of the <br />Planning Director before the building permit is issued. <br />9_ The project developer shall use their best etfiorts to implement the U.S_ Cireen Building <br />Council's (USGBC~, "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ~LEED~" <br />2.O rating system in the design, construction, and operation of the proposed building, <br />including all future tenant improvements. "These measures shall be shown on the building <br />permit plan set submitted for review and approval before issuance of a building permit. <br />In conjunction with the building permit application, the project developer shall determine <br />the building's "LEED Green Building Rating", using the USCiBC evaluating <br />methodology, and shall report the rating to the Planning Director. <br />10_ The project developer shall submit a waste management plan to the Building Department <br />prior to issuance of building or demolition permits. "I'he plan shall include the estimated <br />composition and quanti tics of waste to be generated and how the project developer <br />intends to recycle at least 50-percent of the total job site construction and demolition <br />waste measured by weight or volume- Proof of compliance shall he provided to the Chief <br />Building Official prior to the issuance of-a final building pcnnit_ During demolition and <br />construction, the project developer shall mark all trash disposal bins "trash materials <br />only" and all recycling bins "recycling materials only". The project developer shall <br />contact Pleasanton Garbage Service for the disposal of all waste from the site- <br />11 . The project developer shall implem ant the following measures with the construction of <br />the structure covered by this approval so that roof-mounted photovoltaic systcrns may be <br />installed in the future- <br />a. Electrical conduit and pull-strings shall be installed from the root%attic areas to the <br />building's main electrical panels. <br />b_ Roof systems shall be "engineered" to handle an additional load of tive-pounds <br />per square foot beyond that of the anticipated for roofing_ <br />c. An area shall be provided near the electrical panel for the "inverter" required to <br />convert the direct current output from the photovoltaic panels to alternating <br />current~ <br />d. A bi-directional electrical meter shall be installed. <br />These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the Pla.(~ning <br />Director for review and approval before issuance of the tirst buil ding permit. <br />12. The project developer shall reduce the driveway width on Utah Street to 32 feet, unless <br />otherwise approved by the City Engineer. All the driveways shall be co n~ply with <br />handicapped accessible requirements. "fhe driveway designs shall be shown on the <br />building permit plan set to the satisfaction of the City Engineer before the building permit <br />is issued. <br />2 <br />
