1 9_ All existing wells on the site shall be removed or sealed, filled and abandoned. pursuant to <br />Alameda County Ordinance 73 -68, prior to the start of grading operations ur~less/.one "7 <br />retains specific wells fbr observation wells, or special approval is obtained from the City <br />Engineer for use of an existing wall for landscape irrigation- <br />a_ If an existing wall is retained for this purpose: <br />The building developer shall install back-flow devices to prevent the cross- <br />contamination of the do niestic, City water supply by the landscape well- <br />lf. A certified Backflow lnspector shall inspect the well acid backtlow devices <br />annually and shall submit a report the Planning DeparttYtcnt for review and <br />acceptance- <br />20. Any damage to existing street improvcincnts during construction on the subject property <br />shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the prof eet <br />developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruction if deemed <br />warranted by the City Engineer- <br />21 _ Yrior to final building inspection, the project developer shall post address nun-ierals on the <br />building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both <br />daylight and night time hours. <br />Landscaping Conditions <br />22. No tree trimming or pruning other than that specified in the tree report shall occur. The <br />project developer shall arrange for the horticultural consultant to conduct a field <br />inspection prior to issuance of grading permits to ensure that all recommendations have <br />been properly implemented. The consultant shall certify in writing that such <br />recommendations have been followed. <br />23_ No existing trees shall he removed or impacted by the proposed development- Prior to <br />commencement of construction, the project developer shall install tree protection fence, <br />to the satisfaction of the Planning Director, at the dripline of the existing trees on the <br />subject site_ <br />24_ Yrior to latidscane installations a final landscape plan and. irrigation plan shall be <br />submitted to and approved by Planning Director before installation. Said landscape plan <br />sYlall be detailed in terms of species, location, size, quantities, and spacing. <br />a_ All trees used in landscaping be a minimum o£ 15-gallons in size and all shrubs a <br />minimum of five-gallons, unless otherwise approved by the Planning Director <br />with the review of the landscape plan. <br />6 <br />
