EXHIBIT B <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br />17P-88-17, Modification to the Union Jack Pub Use Permit <br />725 Main Street <br />February 23, 2005 <br />The operation of a business at 725 Main Street serving alcohol after 10:00 p.m. shall <br />conform to the requirements o£UP-88-17 unless modified by the Following conditions- <br />2_ T'he owner shall ensure that the restaurant component fully complies with the existing <br />conditional permit approval. Meals shall be served at all times that alcohol is served- <br />The meals prepared may be a combination of hot and cold dishes and must be a `meal' <br />as defined by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act (Business and Professions Code <br />§23038 and be served by waitstaf£ Microwave dishes as sole menu item~s~ will neither <br />be construed as `meals' nor meet the definition of restaurant service. The owner shall <br />provide a menu for review and approval by the Planning Director. <br />if non-compliant, the Planning Director may immediately suspend the conditional use <br />permit- The Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing within 40 days, and if <br />not satisfied that the regulation, general provision, or condition is being complied with, <br />may revoke the use permit. <br />The operation of the restaurant/bar shall be limited to the following hours: <br />1 1 :00 am to 1 1 :00 pm Sunday through Thursday; <br />1 1 :00 am to 12:00 midnight Friday and Saturday. <br />The restaurant/bar may remain open from 1 1 =00 a.m. to 1 :00 a.in_ on New Year's Eve_ <br />if non-compliant, the Planning Director shall refer the conditional use permit to the <br />Planning C7ommission. The Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing within 40 <br />days, and, if not satisfied that the regulation, general provision, or condition is being <br />complied with, may suspend or revoke the use permit. <br />4. The business owner and property owner will engage security persoruiel to the <br />satisfaction of the Pleasanton Police Department and/or Planning Director. The security <br />guard will keep weekly reports identifying the activities occurring on site and shall <br />make available review of those reports when asked by the Police Department or any <br />other City representative including the Planning Director or his designee. <br />5_ The owner shall install signs in the interior of the building on and/or near the exit doors <br />stating that the customers shall not loiter outside the establishment and shall he <br />courteous aiad quiet when leaving the business and parking areas. <br />
