<br />parking permits, which sticker shall be affixed to the motor vehicle for which a permit is <br />issued at the location specified in Section 11.38.050. (Ord. 1376 ~ 1 (part), 1988) <br />11.38.040 Guest permits. <br />Not more than two guest permits shall be issued for any dwelling unit. Guest permits <br />shall be issued to residents in a residential parking permit zone and may be issued at the <br />same time as the annual permit. Guest permits shall not be used for regular vehicle usage <br />nor to bypass the need to buy an annual permit. Residents who abuse guest pass <br />privileges shall have their annual permit privileges revoked for up to one year. (Ord. 1376 <br />~ 1 (part), 1988) <br />11.38.050 Display of permits. <br />Residential parking permits shall be affixed to a motor vehicle at the left rear bumper. <br />Guest permits shall be placed inside the vehicle, visible through the rear window on the <br />driver's side or attached to the rearview mirror. (Ord. 1376 ~ I (part), 1988) <br />11.38.060 Fees for issuance - Duration of permits. <br />The council may establish by resolution fees for the issuance of residential parking <br />permits, guest permits and for the replacement of lost, damaged or destroyed permits or <br />stickers. Residential parking permits shall be valid for not more than one year, unless <br />otherwise stated on the permit and every permit shall be renewable prior to September 1st <br />of each year. (Ord. 1376 ~ I (part), 1988) <br />11.38.070 Termination of permits. <br />Permits shall terminate upon any ofthe following events: <br />A. Upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle for which a permit has been issued. <br />B. Upon the relocation of the permittee from his or her residence within a residential <br />parking area to another residence, whether within or outside said zone. <br />C. Upon expiration ofthe time period for which a permit has been issued. (Ord. 1376 <br />~ I (part), 1988) <br />11.38.080 Posting of residential permit parking zone. <br />Upon the adoption of a resolution by the council designating a residential permit parking <br />zone and appropriate parking time restrictions, the city manager shall order appropriate <br />signs to be erected in such area indicating prominently thereon the time limitation, day or <br />days, and hours during which parking shall be restricted. It is unlawful and a violation ofthis chapter, unless expressly provided to the <br />contrary in this chapter, for any person to park a motor vehicle on a street in a residential <br />permit parking zone within in excess of the parking time limit posted by signs giving <br />notice thereof and erected pursuant to this chapter, without a valid residential parking <br />permit for that zone properly affixed to such vehicle. <br />B. It is unlawful and a violation of this chapter for a person falsely to represent <br />himself or herself as eligible for a residential parking permit or a guest permit or to <br />furnish false information in an application for any such permits. <br />c. It is unlawful and a violation of this chapter for any person to use or display, or <br />permit the use or display of, a residential parking permit or a guest permit or a sticker <br />
