<br />pertaining thereto on a motor vehicle other than that vehicle for which such permit or <br />sticker was issued. (Ord. 1376 ~ I (part), 1988) <br />11.38.100 Exemptions. <br />A. Any motor vehicle on which is displayed a valid residential parking permit, <br />temporary permit or sticker pertaining thereto, as provided for in this chapter may be <br />parked on a street in the residential permit parking zone pertaining thereto without <br />limitation of the time restrictions established by the council under Section 11.38.080. <br />Such parking permit shall not guarantee or reserve the holder thereof an on-street parking <br />space on a street in such residential permit parking zone or exempt the vehicle from any <br />other restrictions, ordinances or codes. <br />S. This chapter does not apply to ambulances, fire department vehicles, police <br />vehicles, public utility vehicles or other official or emergency vehicles while conducting <br />official business which have an official seal or logo identifying them as such. <br />C. Clearly marked vehicles with commercial license plates parked for the purpose of <br />loading or delivery of goods, wares or merchandise from or to any building or structure in <br />a residential permit parking zone or delivering materials to be used in the repair, <br />alteration, remodeling, construction or reconstruction of any such building or structure <br />for which a building permit has previously been obtained, or vehicles used for <br />commercial residential maintenance including but not limited to landscapers and <br />repairmen doing work for residents in the zone shall be exempt from the time restrictions <br />established by the council under Section 11.38.080. <br />D. Any vehicle which is identified by a disabled or handicapped driver meeting the <br />requirements of Vehicle Code Section 22511.5 and displaying handicapped license plate. <br />(Ord. 1376 ~ I (part), 1988) <br />11.38.120 Penalty. <br />The violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed an infraction <br />which, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of twenty-five dollars.
