I live in the charter Oaks <br />development and it is stated in our CC and R's and also for attached <br />units, that awnings are not allowed. My understanding is that there <br />cannot be anything permanent on the property that is less than 3 feet <br />from all fence areas. Though the awning is retractable, where it is <br />placed on the house is not three feet from the fence. That model has <br />the sliding door on the three foot mark, making any attachments over <br />the limit. The awning should be removed. <br /> <br />Thank you, <br />Ann.
