Commissioner Roberts noted that there vvere tvvo gas stations on Ray and Stanley.. and expressed concern about the use in this location_ She noted that there vvas another gas station being built on Isabel and Vineyard in Livermore_ She inquired about the effect on traf-'fic these stations vvould .present_ She felt that the carvvash use may be acceptable as that site is less visible. Chairperson Arkin suggested that the separate structures be integrated into one building. l\.IIr. ~ilson understood the need for a traffic study", and noted that this site vvas unique because of the number of ingress and egress routes. He believed the altemate access points helped to disperse traffic. He did not believe this use vvould be as intense as I'V1cDonald'" s during certain points of the day. She expressed concern about the placement of t'VVo car vv-ashes on the site. Commissioner Sullivan noted that a PUD modification vvould be needed to allovv- alcohol sales in the convenience store_ Commissioner Fox agreed that the placement of gas stations on cut-through routes vv-as a bad idea. She noted that the 7-11"'s in tovvn had a convenience store" but no gas station. She inquired vv-hether that vvould be an option in order to have somctl""l.ing at that site.
