He noted <br />that most of "the traffic attracted by a service station vvas bypass traffic that -vvould already <br />be in "the vicinity. He noted that traffic going speci-t'ically to the gas station. for fuel or a <br />car -vvash generally occurred on -vveekends. <br /> <br />Commissioner l\/1aas vvould prefer the station to be a neighborhood gas station,. and not a <br />business that vvould attract customers from other parts of the City_ <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that many people traveled to and from school on the <br />adjacent road,. and did not believe it 'VVas an appropriate use for that area. <br /> <br />Chairperson Arkin preferred a more distinctive and quality design than vvhat vvas <br />presented. .He felt that there are too many pumps. <br /> <br />1V1r.
