Design Team Quality Control - CONSULTANT has an in-house Quality Control Program. There are five steps to our Quality Control Program. Listed below are the Quality Control steps that CONSULTANT shall take. 1.2.1. Independent Plan RevieW' - One of CONSULTANT's outside offices will perform an independent plan review at the 950/0 design level. 1.2.2. Survey Mock-up at the 95%. Submittal - CONSULTANT will performs a field survey stake out of the job at the 950/0 design to verify conforms, cross slopes, downstream connections, sawcut line elevations, benchmarks, monuments, and other pertinent information. 1.2.3. PS&E Checklist for Measurement and Payment- CONSULTANT has a standard form to use to verify consistency in the PS&E for measurement and payment. 1.2.4. Team Presubmittals to CONSULTANT - All Subconsultants are required to submit to CONSULTANT one week prior to each formal submittal to the Client. 1.2.5. Quality Control is Part of Project Schedule - CONSULTANT includes QC in the overall project schedule to emphasize its importance. 2. BASE MAPPING - The purpose of this phase is to assemble and review existing data, obtain new field data, and prepare geometric drawings (base plans) for the proposed barge canal crossing and roadway improvements.
