Objective <br /> TO ESTABLISH A COORDINATED PATTERN OF PUBLIC FACILITIES WITHIN AN <br /> OPEN SPACE/PARK-LIKE SETTING. <br /> Site Planning Policy 1: Site Planning Consistency. Locate and design public facilities and <br /> open space consistent with Figure 3-1 (Sub-area Land Use Map), Table 3-1 (Potentially <br /> Permitted Land Uses by Sub-area), and Figure 3-2 (Illustrative Site Plan). <br /> Guidelines: <br /> 1.1 The Sub-area Land Use Map (Figure 3-1) should be utilized for locating potentially <br /> permitted public facilities (Table 3-1) in ways that will ensure land use compatibility within <br /> the Bernal Property and with the bordering land uses. <br /> 1.2 The Illustrative Site Plan Map (Figure 3-2) should be utilized to create the desired open <br /> space/park-like setting in terms ofthe dispersion of uses and buildings within the open <br /> space, proportion of open space to developed area, scale of open meadows to wooded <br /> landscapes, habitat and trail linkages, and creating a sense of Grand Park. <br /> Comprehensive Land Use Planninl! Objective <br /> TO DEVELOP A SERIES OF HIGH QUALITY PUBLIC FACILITIES OVER TIME THAT <br /> SERVE THE COMMUNITY. <br /> Comprehensive Land Use Policy 1: Community Facilities.
