29. The project developer shall submit a waste management plan to the Building Department <br /> prior to issuance of building or demolition permits. The plan shall include the estimated <br /> composition and quantities of waste to be generated and how the project developer shall <br /> recycle at least fifty percent (50 %) of the job site construction and demolition waste. <br /> Proof of compliance shall be provided to the Director of Building Inspection prior to the <br /> issuance of a final building permit. During demolition and construction, the project <br /> developer shall mark all trash disposal bins "trash materials only" and all recycling bins <br /> "recycling materials only". The project developer shall contact Pleasanton Garbage <br /> Service for all waste disposal. Only that portion of trash and recycling waste refused by <br /> Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of or diverted by another trash/recycling <br /> company. <br /> <br />30. The driveway color and material shall be indicated on the plans submitted for issuance <br /> of building permits. Said material/color shall be subject to review and approval by the <br /> Planning Director and City Engineer prior to issuance of building permits for the <br /> project. <br /> <br />31. A construction staging plan shall be submitted to the Planning Director for review and <br /> approval before issuance of a grading/on-site permit. The plan shall minimize the <br /> storage o1~ construction equipment/materials on Kottinger Drive. The construction <br /> staging plan shall be implemented by the project developer/comractor/sub-contractors <br /> during all project construction phases. <br /> <br />32. The existing retaining wall along the Kottinger Drive frontage shall be removed and a <br /> new retaining wall installed. The following conditions shall apply to the new wall: <br /> <br />a. The face of the wall located westerly of the proposed driveway shall be installed <br /> two feet behind the back of the curb to allow vehicles parked parallel with the <br />curb to open their car doors, unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. <br />b. The wall located easterly of the proposed driveway shall be set behind a 5-foot <br /> wide monolithic sidewalk, unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />c. Prior to issuance of a building permit, an elevation drawing of the proposed <br /> retairdng wall shall be submitted to the Planning Department for review and <br /> approval. The Planning Director shall approve the wall type and finish. <br /> <br />d. The applicant shall install concrete swales at the top of the wall (on the backside) <br /> to intercept overland flows uphill of the wall. The applicant shall submit <br /> calculations for the wall to the City's Building Department. <br /> <br />33. The project developer shall submit a pad elevation certification prepared by a licensed <br /> land surveyor or registered civil engineer to the Chief Building Official and Planning <br /> <br /> <br />
