<br />3, Appropriate relationship of the proposed building and its site to adjoining areas, in- <br />cluding compatibility of architectural styles, harmony in adjoining buildings, attractive <br />landscape transitions, and consistency with neighborhood character; <br />The Zoning Administrator found that the architectural style was consistent and compati- <br />ble with the existing structure. <br />4, Preservation of views enjoyed by residents, workers within the City, and passersby <br />through the community; <br />The Zoning Administrator found that the proposed project will not block views enjoyed <br />by residents, workers within the City, and passerby through the community, Viewsheds <br />shared between residents on either side of the subject site will be altered, but not neces- <br />sarily negatively so. Therefore this finding can be met. <br />5, Landscaping designed to enhance architectural features, strengthen vistas, provide <br />shade, and conform to established streetscape; <br />No landscaping was proposed as part of this project. There has been discussion, however, <br />that any additional trees for screening may be employed by the Diaz' upon completion of <br />the construction to enhance the site. <br />6, Relationship of exterior lighting to its surroundings and to the building and adjoining <br />landscape; <br />No additional lights are being proposed with this project. Any lighting added must be <br />standard building lighting. No up-lighting will be permitted. <br />7. Architectural style, as a function of its quality of design and relationship to its sur- <br />roundings; the relationship of building components to one another/the building's colors <br />and materials; and the design attention given to mechanical equipment or other utility <br />hardware on roof, ground or buildings; <br />The Zoning Administrator found that the architectural style is compatible with the <br />neighborhood and the function of the design and relationship to the surroundings. No me- <br />chanical equipment or other utility hardware was proposed with this project. <br />8. Integration of signs as part of the architectural concept; and <br />No signage was proposed with this project. <br />9, Architectural concept of miscellaneous structures, street furniture, public art in rela- <br />tionship to the site and landscape, (Ord. 1612 S 2, 1993; Ord. 1591 S 2, 1993) <br />No miscellaneous structures, street furniture, or public art were proposed with this pro- <br />ject. <br />Item 6,c,.
