(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />Street W shall be extended to intersect with Bemal Avenue to form a <br />right-turn in, right-turn out intersection; the final location shall be <br />determined with City review and approval of the MVTM. <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />The Valley Avenue cross-section shown in Exhibit 15 shall be modified to <br />conform to the cross-section and traffic-calming shown in the Specific <br />Plan. An enhanced pedestrian crossing designed to slow traffic shall be <br />added at the commemial/office plaza connection to the Village Commons. <br />These changes shall be shown on the MVTM for City review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />(iii) <br /> <br />The Western Area entrance road southerly of Bemal Avenue shall be <br />widened to accept the westbound to southbound double left-tm lane and <br />to accommodate a landscaped median. This road shall then veer <br />soulheasterly to intersect Parcel 2 at its northeasterly comer. <br /> <br />(iv) <br /> <br />The Valley Avenue underpass design (Sheets 72 71 and g-3-72 of the PUD <br />submittal) are expressly not approved. The underpass shall incorporate a <br />pedestrian/bicycle walkway similar to that at the Bemal Avenue-UPRR <br />undcrcrossing. Final review and approval ora conceptual plan shall be <br />made at the time of City review of the MVTM. <br /> <br />(v) <br /> <br />The Junipero Street-Case Avenue intersection shall be signalized at the <br />time Case Avenue is extended into the Eastern Area or the underpass for <br />the Valley Avanue-Junipero Street extension is completed, whichever is <br />earlier. This signal shall be connected to the City's traffic signal <br />interconnect system. <br /> <br />Project streets developed in accordance with the street sections shown in this PUD <br />development plan shall be dedicated to the City and constructed to City standards. <br />Final design for the line, grade, and structural sections shall be subject to final <br />review and approval by the City Engineer. When the sidewalk is adjacent to the <br />curb and gutter, it shall be poured monolithically with the curb and gutter. <br /> <br />A roundabout shall be strongly considered at the intersection of Valley Avenue <br />and Street A; the Phase I improvements may install a traffic circle as an interim <br />traffic control measure. <br /> <br />Traffic circles or other traffic-calming measures shall be incorporated into the <br />Project's improvement plans as specified in the Specific Plan. The design of <br />traffic circles and other traffic-calming measures shall be a function of street <br />intersection geometries and shall follow City design criteria. Traffic circles shall <br />have appropriate dimensions and traffic control signage for bicycle safety.
