All service cormections (except fire service cormections) shall be made downstream of the <br />restriction in the domestic service line. <br />2. The one-half (1/2) inch restrictor and both Tees shown on this drawing shall be on the <br />outside of the house and shall be visible from the street unless a letter of exemption is on ~e <br />with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Prevention Bureau. <br />3. Sizes of piping may vary per plans. Size of restrictor shall always be one-half (l/2) inch. <br /> <br />· 20.24.100 UFC Section 207-7 amended--Prevention of False Alarms: <br /> <br /> Section 207-F of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 207~F: Unwanted alarms. <br /> <br /> 1. It is unlawthl for any property owner or licensed contractor to fail to notify the <br /> police/fire department dispatch center prior to any test, installation, repair, modification, <br /> addition, or maintenance of any fire alarm or fire extinguishing system which could result in <br /> the transmission of a unwanted alarm. <br /> <br /> 2. The fire deparunent may charge fees that reasonably constitute the cost of response m <br /> unwanted alarms when it is determined that the report is malicious, or resulting from the <br /> failure to maintain a fire protection alarm system. In the event of responses to automatic fire <br /> alarm systems, the responsible party will be billed for the response upon the third incident in <br /> any twelve-month period. <br /> <br /> · 20.24.140 UFC Section 1003.1.2.3 added--Installation of Fire Sl}rinlder Systems. <br /> <br /> Section 1003.1.2.3 is added to the Uniform Fire Code to read: <br /> <br /> Section 1003.1.2.3 <br /> <br /> Fire sprinkler protection shall be provided in all combustible and non-combustible concealed spaces. <br /> Examples include areas above ceilings and underfloors, soffits, etc. <br /> <br /> · 20.24.145 UFC Section 1003.3.1.
