3. No solid wall of any kind constructed on National Park Road

4. The aesthetics of the property fronting National Park Road improved (esp. the
appearance of the childcare area)

5. Better general maintenance of the entire site, particularly the planted spaces

6. Some buffer (either a building or some other buffer) in the area now proposed for
the hammerhead to shield neighborhood from the parking lot and the activities at the
Mason's Hall

Commen~, que~tJons and clarifications about those notes were as follows:

1. The pre-school does present somewhat of a noise burden, but not so much of one as
to justify placing a sound wall along National Park Dr.

2. The neighbors have no objection to the original plan to include a courtyard; Ok for
the Church to have a courtyard if desired.

3. The neighbors strongly prefer and accept having some overspill parking on their
streets if it means that the "hammerhead" parking lot can be eliminated. Church wants
it clear that this may happen on regular Sundays as membership grows.

4. The City will require 75 parking spaces of which 66 currently exist. A few of these
will be lost to construction. The 104 spaces originally identified for total build-out are
not required.

5. The Church is happy to delete the hammerhead if possible; it eliminates the need to
re-grade that area and opens up additional building options.

THE FOLLOWZNG GROUNDRULES WERE ZN PLACE DURZNG THZS t4EETLNG:

move forward; avoid rehashing past misunderstandings
respect one another
listen carefully to fully understand what is being said
avoid interruptions; note questions and comments and deliver at appropriate time
share information and ideas

MEE'r~NG PARTZCZPANTS:

St. Clare's Church: Valley Trails Residents: City:
Architect Tim Mattheis Bill Dawe City Manager Nelson Fialho
Dave Willmore Sharon Dawe Planning Dir.
