3. Assuming a 20 foot clearance required for the passage between the lower <br />and upper parking lots, there is insufficient space to re-introduce the lost <br />courtyard. <br /> <br />4. Can some of the tim-safety needs be met by the addition of extra <br />sprinklers inside the buildings? <br /> <br />The following were identified as u~efol next steps to be taken in roughly this <br />order: <br /> <br />1, Architect creates new layout. <br />2. New layout is checked with fire department. <br />3. Neighbors and Church representatives meet one moro time to validate <br />new layout. (Meetinu _~c__h__~d__~led for Friday. Auuust 26 at 4:00 o.m.} <br />4. New layout is OK'd by Congregation. <br />5. Neighborhood indicates support of master expansion plan to City Council. <br />6. City Council (hopefully) approves Conditional Use Permit for master <br />expansion plan subject to recommended conditions. <br /> <br /> SUMMARY OF PRELZMZNARY DZSCUSS[ONS <br /> <br />CHURCH DECRiPT[ON OF THEIR V]SIONS AND LONG TERM NEEDS <br /> <br /> The Church's vision and needs can be summarized as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consider the nex~ generation; build for a congregation roughly bNice the size of <br /> present. <br /> <br /> 2. Have a dedicated fellowship space. Transform the current worship space to this use <br /> and build a new, larger, beautiful worship space. <br /> <br /> 3. iVlaintain the communiLy feeling and focus by arranging and integrating the spaces <br /> carefully. <br /> <br /> 4. Tncrease the visible presence of the church. <br /> <br /> 5. Do ail of the above within budget constraints. <br /> <br /> 6. Realize the above in phases that are properly ordered and integrated by creating a <br /> multi-phase master plan. <br /> <br /> 7.
