3.11. Growth-Inducing Impacts
The proposed project would not have any growth inducing impacts.

X
May be Insignificant Insignificant
Significant if Mitigated

3.12. Energy Impacts

There would be no significant increase in demand for energy as a result of the Park
development. Fuel and electrical energy will be needed during construction, and only
incremental mounts of fuel, electricity and natural gas would be needed for operations.

X
May be Insignificant Insignificant
Significant if Mitigated

3.13. Aesthetic Impacts (Obstruction of Views, Design, etc.)

The Project is proposed to be located approximately 1,200 feet south of Bernal Avenue
and 500 feet north of Valley Avenue. Due to these large setbacks and the fact that only
limited accessory structures are proposed, the project is not expected to block any views
of the outlying scenic hillsides from Bernal Avenue. For potential light and glare
impacts, please refer to Section 3.15 of this Initial Study. For other aesthetic impact
related information, also refer to the Bernal Phase I EIR.

X
May be Insignificant Insignificant
Significant if Mitigated

3.14. Impacts on Archaeological or Historical Sites

As stated in the Phase I Bernal EIR, no significant archaeological resources have been
identified at the Project site. However, if archaeological materials are uncovered during
grading, trenching, or other on-site excavation, work shall stop and procedures followed
as required by the California Environmental Quality Act.

X
May be Insignificant Insignificant
Significant if Mitigated

10
