<br />Resolution No. PC-94-46 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed POD <br />modification is consistent with the General Plan policies <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The plan is in the best interests of the public <br />health, safety, and general welfare: <br /> <br />The proposed project amends a previously approved <br />master planned business park, the Hacienda Business <br />Park. The proposed project will provide for the <br />possibility of establishing warehouse uses within <br />the Park. Warehouse uses will generate less <br />morning and evening peak hour traffic than other <br />possible uses lessening overall traffic volumes. <br /> <br />2. The plan is consistent with the city's General <br />Plan: <br /> <br />The proposed project is consistent with the city's <br />General Plan. The proposed changes are within the <br />parameters for uses and floor area requirements <br />specified by the General Plan. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The plan is compatible with previously <br />properties in the vicinity and the <br />topographic features of the site: <br /> <br />Development will still be required to be consistent <br />with the Hacienda Business Park Design Guidelines <br />to ensure that development is compatible with the <br />surrounding properties in terms of architectural <br />design and site planning. <br /> <br />developed <br />natural, <br /> <br />4.
