To protect the swale located by Areas "A" and "B" from nearby <br />grading, the developer shall install fencing around the area <br />of each fill site. These fences shall be verified in the <br />field by the City Engineer before grading in these areas can <br />begin. <br /> <br />7. No trees shall be removed. The applicant shall post cash, <br />letter of credit, or other security satisfactory to the <br />Planning Director in the amount of $5,000 for each tree <br />required to be preserved, up to a maximum of $25,000. This <br />cash bond or security shall be retained for one year following <br />acceptance of public improvements or completion of <br />construction, whichever is later, and shall be forfeited if <br />the trees are destroyed or sUbstantially damaged. <br /> <br />8. To visually blend new slopes with existing terrain, the <br />following measures shall be incorporated into the design of <br />the final grading plan: <br /> <br />a. The grade of all fill slopes would be kept to a maximum <br />3:1 slope grade. <br /> <br />b. New slope contours shall be varied to match existing <br />terrain. <br /> <br />c. No mid-slope "benches" shall be used. <br /> <br />d. All slopes shall be planted with native grasses after <br />grading is completed. <br /> <br />These changes shall be shown on the final grading plan to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer and Planning Director prior <br />to issuance of a grading permit. <br /> <br />9. Construction access/haul roads shall have a maximum width of <br />20'. This revision shall be shown on the final grading plan <br />to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and Planning Director <br />prior to issuance of a grading permit. <br /> <br />10. The fill slope for Area "C" shall be pulled back from the drip <br />line of the oak tree. This revision shall be shown on the <br />final grading plan to the satisfaction of the city Engineer <br />and Planning Director prior to issuance of a grading permit. <br /> <br />II I] <br />
