<br />geotechnical engineer, and certified engineering <br />geo1ogist sha11 provide continuous inspection during <br />grading to ensure the recommendations and plans are <br />followed. A compliance report prepared by the <br />geotechnical engineer, certified engineering geologist, <br />and soils engineer shall be submitted to the City <br />Engineer 30 days after completion of grading. <br /> <br />ll. Erosion <br /> <br />The applicant shall mitigate impacts <br />stated in the EIR for the project. <br />include the following: <br /> <br />relating to erosion as <br />Such mitigations shall <br /> <br />a. The applicant's engineer and landscape architect shall <br />prepare recommendations and plans for preventing erosion <br />and scour of natural creeks and existing drainage ways, <br />subject to review by the City Engineer prior to approval <br />of the final map. <br /> <br />b. The recommendations and plans shall follow "state of the <br />practice" construction methods for hillside developments <br />and shall be made part of the preliminary grading plan. <br />Creeks and drainageways shown as private storm easements <br />shall be shown on the tentative map. <br /> <br />c. A long-term erosion control plan for the proj ect' s common <br />open space area shall be developed by the applicant's <br />engineer and landscape architect, subject to review of <br />the City Engineer prior to approval of the final map. <br />The maintenance responsibility and the erosion control <br />plan and its provisions shall be incorporated in the <br />CC&R's for the project. <br /> <br />d. The applicant shall have all construction contractors <br />water exposed surfaces in late morning and at the end of <br />each work day, with increased watering when wind speeds <br />exceed 10 mph. Contractors shall also be required to <br />clean up mud and dust carried onto streets by <br />construction vehicles on a daily basis or as determined <br />necessary by the City Engineer. Consideration should be <br />given to using reclaimed water for this purpose. <br /> <br />e. All rough or final graded building pads shall be <br />hydroseeded prior to October 15 unless otherwise approved <br />by the City Engineer as part of the erosion control plan. <br /> <br />12. Groundwater <br /> <br />The applicant shall mitigate impacts relating to groundwater <br />as stated in the EIR for the project.
