<br />Beeman. The specific limits and methodology of this <br />survey sha11 be submitted to the P1easanton P1anning <br />Department and the California Department of Fish and Game <br />for review and approval. The field trapping study shall <br />be conducted prior to any tentative map application. <br /> <br />b. If the report identifies the presence of the Tiger <br />Salamander no development will be permitted in that area <br />which would impact the Tiger Salamander habitat. <br />Additionally, a restoration and improvement program will <br />be submitted to Pleasanton Planning Department and the <br />California Department of Fish and Game for review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />c. If the report identifies the presence of the Whipsnake no <br />development will be permitted in that area which would <br />impact the Whipsnake habitat. This would eliminate lots <br />14 through 23. Additionally, a restoration and <br />improvement program will be submitted to Pleasanton <br />Planning Department and the California Department of Fish <br />and Game for review and approval. This restoration <br />program shall include but is not limited to the <br />installation of a snake-proof fence between the habitat <br />area and residential properties and traveled roads and <br />the construction of additional habitat for both the <br />Whipsnake and fence lizard. <br /> <br />27. Traffic <br /> <br />a. Foothill Road along the frontage of the property shall be <br />improved to the satisfaction of the City engineer. These <br />improvements shall follow the 1972 Foothill Road Precise <br />Alignment or more recently adopted alignment. These <br />improvements shall include but not be limited to their <br />pro-rata share of constructing two travel lanes <br />southbound, a separated pedestrian/bike path on the west <br />side of the street, median island improvements required <br />to allow the left turns into and out of the site, and <br />landscaping of any median island. <br /> <br />b. All interior streets and courts shall be essentially as <br />shown on the typical street sections, except that there <br />shall be an 8 foot public service easement behind the <br />street right-of-way. An area 5 foot behind the sidewalk <br />or curb, whichever is applicable, shall be graded at a <br />maximum slope of 2 percent towards the street. <br /> <br />c. At street intersections, the maximum street grade shall <br />be 7 percent. The applicant's engineer shall review all <br />street intersections for adequate sight distance as <br />defined in the Caltrans Highway Design Manual and <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-91-9 <br />February 27, 1991 <br />
