Commissioner Michelotti called attention to the paint color of the multi-purpose room at <br />Lydiksen School. Apparently it appears too noticeable, and noted that the Planning <br />Commission had no choice in selecting the color. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Tentative Tract 6447. S & S Properties <br />Application to subdivide an approximately 9 acre site into 40 single-family residential <br />lots located at 10890 Dublin Canyon Road. Zoning for the property is PUD-MDR <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential) District. <br /> <br />Application continued to November 20, 1991. <br /> <br />UP-91-60. Futurekids/Glenna Baver <br />Application for a conditional use permit to allow a computer instruction facility for <br />children to be located at 1020 Serpentine Lane, Suite 110 in Valley Business Park. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Industrial District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-60 subject to <br />the conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh referred to page 2 of the staff report in reference to the one-hour fire <br />rated walls between the adjacent office uses, and asked if the Building Department has <br />actually reviewed this matter. Mr. Iserson replied that this matter would be checked prior to <br />issuance of a building permit. If necessary, a condition could be added. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh called attention to the proposed hours of the project as the ages of <br />the students go from 3 to 13. He expressed some concern that this could cut into normal <br />school times. <br /> <br />Commissioners Wright and McGuirk raised the issues of safety regarding adequate electrical <br />outlets and wiring for the computers.
