<br />~ <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan asked staff whether there have been any negotiations, agreements or <br />discussions between the owners of Lots 6 and 7 that would change their zoning to <br />commercial. Mr. Rasmussen said he did not know of any discussions to leave their property <br />Low Density Residential or to combine for commercial purposes. <br /> <br />TIlE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan asked Mr. Benevides if he had any objection to how the area is about <br />to be zoned. He further explained that his property would be Low Density Residential <br />unless he simultaneously developed commercial office use with lot 7. <br /> <br />Ken Benevides, 362 Sycamore Road, responded that he had no objections. He said he has <br />not been asked and has not been involved in any discussions. However, he agreed he did <br />understand Commissioner Horan's comment. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CWSED. <br /> <br />Further discussion followed regarding density for Lots 26, 28, and 29, and the 75 ft. <br />setback. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner Horan <br />recommending that the City Council approve the General Plan Map amendment as designated <br />on the displayed map, with the following modifications: <br /> <br />o That Lot 26 be designated Medium Density Residential; <br /> <br />o That the 75 ft. setback requirement pertain to dwelling units; otherwise, there <br />shall be a 25 ft. setback for all accessory structures; this shall be shown on the <br />Plan with modification to the text; and <br /> <br />o That the 10 acres reserved for a school site be retained.
