Zoning for the property is PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) District. Continued to 9/25/91. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS RZ-91-5. Citv of Pleasanton Application to amend Section 18.20.020 and other pertinent sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code related to the composition and function of the Design Review Board. Mr. Iserson presented the staff report recommending approval of Case RZ-91-5 subject to the conditions of the staff report. Mr. Iserson referred to page 3, No.5, of the report and noted there had been no amendment to the Code. Commissioner Michelotti asked if straight zoning property could be appealed by the Planning Commission. Mr. Iserson said the Commission could appeal those, or the applicant could go directly to City Council. Commissioner Horan asked if any kinds of cases can be appealed. Mr. Iserson agreed they could be. Commissioner Hovingh referred to page 3, No.9, of the staff report and further discussed this with Mr. Iserson. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. No one represented the application. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. Commissioner Hovingh expressed some concern that the Design Review Board might end up with five unlicensed professionals and he felt this would not be appropriate.
