<br />UP-91-49. Tricia El!an <br />Application for a home occupation permit to allow piano lessons to be conducted within <br />the residence located at 3604 Manchester Street. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-49 subject to <br />the conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan asked for further clarification of Condition 1b, c, and d and felt these <br />conditions were possibly too restrictive. Mr. Iserson replied that the applicant is aware of <br />the conditions and had no problem with them. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />No one represented the application. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />Chairman Mahern asked about the distance of the adjacent homes to Ms. Egan. Mr. Iserson <br />did not know the exact distance, but said they have received no complaints in regard to the <br />application. <br /> <br />~ Commissioners Horan and Michelotti briefly discussed Conditions 1b, c, and d. <br />Commissioner Horan felt they were inappropriate and too restrictive; however, <br />Commissioner Michelotti felt they should remain as there have been some problems in <br />similar applications where too many students have been taught in various rooms of a home. <br />She reiterated that this is what the teacher is requesting. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson noted that he has spoken to Ms. Egan on the phone and she had no problem with <br />the conditions. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner Hovingh <br />making the required findings and approving Case UP-91-49 subject to the conditions of the <br />staff report. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Horan, Hovingh, McGuirk, Michelotti, and Chairman Mahern <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-91-64 was entered and adopted approving Case UP-91-49 as motioned. <br /> <br />Minutes Planning Commission <br />September 11, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />. <br />
