Commissioner McGuirk agreed with
that statement.

NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS

UP-91-13. Harvest Vallev Christian Church
Application for a conditional use permit to allow a church, including sanctuary,
administrative offices, and nursery in an approximately 4,772 sq. ft. existing
tenant space located in The KolI Business Center at 6920 KolI Center Parkway,
Suite 225. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) -
Industrial/Commercial and Offices.

~

Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-13
subject to the conditions of the staff report.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED.

Gary Senna, 2561 Larikeet Court, represented the application and stated he
concurs with the conditions. He said the only thing changed on the site is that the
main entrance to the church has been changed.

In response to Commissioner McGuirk's question, Mr. Senna replied that even with
the change of door entrance there were several more access doors.

Robert Prosky, 6920 KolI Center Parkway, Suite 218, said he operates Business
Remote Electronic Technical Company. They are in the start-up stage in
manufacturing remote control devices. He said he has spent about 11 months
exploring various business sites and concluded by choosing KolI Center as their
corporate headquarters. One of the reasons for choosing this center was its
professional appearance. He noted that it has since changed its name to Bernal
Corporate Plaza and is now concerned that should the church use be approved that
the desired corporate image would be lost, and that other similar unprofessional
uses would be approved in the future.

MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION - MAY 8, 1991 Pag. 9
