Pleasanton Auto Reoair and Service Application for a conditional use permit to operate an automobile repair facility located at 3880 Old Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial Service District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report and recommended approval of Case UP-91-8 subject to the conditions of the staff report. Commissioner Hovingh called attention to Condition 9. He asked whether this means a wrecked or disabled auto. Mr. Swift said this means a wrecked car; it does not mean storage for a car that cannot be moved. He further clarified that if a car belongs in a wrecking yard, it does not belong on this site. Commissioner McGuirk further clarified that if a part of the car were removed simply to be worked on that it would still be meeting the conditions of approval. Commissioner Horan discussed Condition 3 with Mr. Swift. He felt that the term "insertion of fluids" was misleading and thought it should be deleted.
