Pleasanton Auto Reoair and Service <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate an automobile repair facility <br />located at 3880 Old Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial Service District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report and recommended approval of Case UP-91-8 <br />subject to the conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh called attention to Condition 9. He asked whether this <br />means a wrecked or disabled auto. Mr. Swift said this means a wrecked car; it <br />does not mean storage for a car that cannot be moved. He further clarified that if <br />a car belongs in a wrecking yard, it does not belong on this site. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk further clarified that if a part of the car were removed <br />simply to be worked on that it would still be meeting the conditions of approval. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan discussed Condition 3 with Mr. Swift. He felt that the term <br />"insertion of fluids" was misleading and thought it should be deleted.
