<br />~ <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh stated he felt the Pleasanton Playhouse is a <br />great asset to the community. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti was pleased they have a specific location <br />where they might be contacted to purchase tickets. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by <br />commissioner Wright making the required use findings and <br />approving of Case UP-91-1 subject to the conditions of the staff <br />report. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Commissioners Hovingh, McGuirk, Michelotti, <br />Wright, and Chairman Mahern <br />None <br />Commissioner Horan <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-91-5 was entered and adopted approving of Case <br />UP-91-1 as motioned. <br /> <br />PUD-90-19/Moller Ranch <br />Application for development plan approval to provide for the <br />~ construction of a total of 99 residential units on a 198 acre <br />site located generally to the west/northwest of the Foothill <br />Road/Muirwood Drive street intersection. The proposed project <br />would involve the construction of 62 townhomes, 23 single-family <br />production lots, and 14 single family custom lots. Zoning for <br />the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Rural/Low <br />Density Residential and A (Agriculture) Districts. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report with the corrected table. <br />Even though the case was recommended for approval, staff is now <br />asking that the Commission simply take public testimony from the <br />applicant and the public and discuss it among themselves, with no <br />further action. Mr. Swift said staff feels the Negative <br />Declaration is not in the form that can be acted on tonight. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />Dan Wallace, 4134 Walnut Drive, represented the application. He <br />stated he is the son-in-law of the MoIlers. Along with Mr. <br />Wallace were Peter MacDonald, attorney; Frank Berlogger, and Bob <br />La Perle. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Peter MacDonald, 400 Main Street, spoke on behalf of the project. <br />He gave a brief background of the project, noting they have <br />worked hard to incorporate Design Review Board and staff <br />recommendations to make a quality project.
