The School District's Master Plan has three new elementary school sites to be <br />completed by final build-out of the City. These locations do not include the Del Prado site. <br />The School District has begun the school property disposal process. They have given notice <br />to the City, and the City has a fixed time period to respond to the School District whether or <br />not they would like to acquire the property. <br /> <br />The City Council referred to the Park and Recreation Commission the issue of whether it <br />was feasible to incorporate this land into the City's Master Plan for parks. The City Council <br />also referred to the Planning Commission the issue of an appropriate land use designation for <br />the land if it is not used for an elementary school.
