<br />Commissioner Finch inquired if the Park District would be required to participate in the <br />widening of Foothill Road. Mr. Swift stated the future right-of-way has been dedicated to <br />the City and that property will not be purchased by the East Bay Regional Park District. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />No one from the Park District was in attendance. Evans ComDany <br />Application for Planned Unit Development rezoning to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - HDR (High Density Residential) District and development plan approval <br />to allow a 146-unit multiple family residential development on a vacant 7.4 acre site <br />located at 5300 Case A venue, on the southeasterly side of the street 2,000 feet from <br />Bernal A venue. Zoning for the property is A (Agriculture) District. The Planning <br />Commission will also consider approval of a Negative Declaration of Environmental <br />bnpact, including a California State Department of Fish and Game de minimis impact <br />finding, prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report for the City of Pleasanton and A.F. Evans Company <br />regarding construction of low-income housing on Case Avenue, recommending approval of <br />the staff report subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B." <br /> <br />A major concern surrounding this application has been the probable increase in traffic <br />congestion on Case Avenue and at the intersection of Case and Bernal, in part due to <br />Pleasanton Middle School traffic, and because Case Avenue is a limited access street.
